Suggest A DNA Source Song

Which works merit inclusion in SongMango’s super-elite group of DNA Source Songs? Only the ones that Rock-N-Roll can’t do without – that shape it into the ass-shaking, earth-quaking, air-guitar-making, hand-clapping, foot-tapping, back-slapping genre it is.

We’ve amassed more than 170 of the songs we believe are the very best Rock-N-Roll has to offer. But we know there are others we’ve simply missed or possibly haven’t even heard yet (*gasp*). Please enlighten us with your impeccable taste and sweeping knowledge of the genre. Not all suggestions will become DNA songs but some certainly will.

Jack White continues to hammer out hits in the post-White Stripes era.

Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes has lungs of pure Rock-N-Roll gold.

Tom Petty is on tour promoting his spectacular new album, Hypnotic Eye.

The Rolling Stones have a jaw-dropping catalog of smash hits.
