Who Do You Miss Most?

Rock-N-Roll can be its own worst enemy, extinguishing many of its own brightest stars – our heroes – long before their time. The drugs (heroin in particular). The whiskey. The smokes. The road. The endless nights.

The lifestyle has taken many: Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Gram Parsons, Keith Moon, Brian Jones (Rolling Stones), Danny Whitten (Crazy Horse), Ron “Pigpen” McKernan (Grateful Dead), Sid Vicious, John Bonham, Pete Fardon (Pretenders), Jerry Garcia, Kurt Cobain, Allen Collins (Skynyrd), Bobby Sheehan (Blues Traveler), Allen Woody (Allmans), Amy Winehouse. The list is huge, tragic and never-ending.

Tell us who you miss the most, and what they did to make Rock-N-Roll bigger and better. May they all rest in peace.

The King of Rock-N-Roll died in 1977 at the age of 42 after years of prescription drug abuse.
