The Music Never Stopped: Dead & Company Announces Summer Tour 2017

Dead&CompanylogoDead & Company – the splinter band featuring John Mayer and original members of the Grateful Dead (the Core Four minus Phil) – just announced a five-week tour slated for the summer of 2017.

The tour will kickoff on May 27th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The 19-show run will include two-night stands in Mountain View, CA; Boulder, CO; Boston, MA; and Chicago’s Wrigley Field.

Dead & Company lineup: Bob Weir (guitar), Mickey Hart (drums), Bill Kreutzmann (drums), John Mayer (guitar), Oteil Burbridge (bass/drums) and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards).

Tickets go on sale December 9th. A handful of presales will be available starting December 5th. Check ticket availability here.

Peter Wendel is a journalist and PR consultant. He's attended hundreds of concerts and festivals, including the Peach, Mountain Jam, the All Good and Lockn'. He's ridden legendary Grateful Dead runs from Ventura County Fairgrounds to Irvine Meadows (CA) from the Nassau Coliseum (NY) to the Boston Garden (MA). Peter is a former U.S. Marine who – after running into trouble with every last one of his commanding officers – received an honorable discharge and a direct order never to return.
