BruceRiverCollection SongMango.comBruce Springsteen is set to announce a three-month tour with the E Street Band – a run that will kick off in January 2016.

To get things started, the Boss will perform on Saturday Night Live, December 19th. Mark your calendars.

The SNL appearance and upcoming tour will loosely coincide with the December release of The Ties That Bind: The River Collection, a box set featuring a new documentary on the making of Springsteen’s 1980 double album, The River.

The box set – a 4CD/3DVD package listing for $107.88 (Amazon pre-order) – includes 52 tracks and four hours of never-before-seen footage of Bruce and the E Street Band rehearsing as well as video shot at Springsteen’s legendary 1980 concert in Tempe, AZ.

We should expect the upcoming tour to showcase the new River Collection box set in some way. Check back. We will be providing details as they become available.
